Magnetic Island has an abundance of outdoor activities. Swim, dive
or snorkel in the warm waters of the Coral Sea and discover some amazing
marine creatures. Diving and snorkelling gear is available for hire
from the local dive shops or you can learn to dive with one of the
Island's PADI qualified instructors. With more than 50% of Magnetic Island being National Park what better
way to appreciate the island than by exploring it on foot. Twenty-four
kilometres of walking tracks give you easy access to the most picturesque
spots around the island and along the meandering pathways, you are
likely to encounter some of the indigenous wildlife including
Koalas. Water Sports n Learn to scuba dive or just snorkel or swim n Jetski or sail around the island n Take a guided sea kayak tour and explore the beautiful bays n Throw a fishing line off the rocks or take a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef.
